It’s been 106 days since I started this series. Each day, I intentionally sit down to write about something. It’s not about writing for the sake of writing—it’s meaningful and genuine.
This series is titled ‘365 days of saying things I really mean,’ and I have not wavered on that promise. Every word I translate from thought to page is one I truly mean.
Some entries have been harder to write than others, but they all form part of something much more significant. They are all pieces of discovering myself and this world more deeply, more fervently.
In 259 days, I will look back on each piece and see beauty. I may not recall exactly why I wrote what I did, but I hope to recognise my growth since that day and feel joy.
Being disciplined throughout this series has been challenging, and I hope that as I progress, I learn to write at the day’s beginning rather than its end.
Finding inspiration to write each day hasn’t come easily, but focusing myself and pushing through discomfort has made it possible to reach day 106 and reflect on this journey with genuine excitement.
