Day 115

When we exist amid constant interruption, we lose sight of who we are becoming.

Being intentional and fully present is challenging. It requires a choice that can feel heavy in moments when we crave ‘light’ distraction. It demands both physical and mental commitment to outcomes and rewards that often remain abstract.

But each time we choose distraction over our becoming, we step further away from the version of ourselves waiting to come alive.

Distraction disguises itself as a brief break or harmless scrolling. Yet when minutes extend beyond their boundaries, we’re pulled from investing in our becoming, making it exponentially harder to return to that state of intention and presence.

We aren’t meant to be available for everything all of the time.

We are meant to see the commitment to ourselves as the foundational building blocks of all that is to come. From this place of self-fidelity, we step into who we are becoming and leave our mark on this world for the better.

So, what’s keeping you from your own becoming lately?
