Day 124

Don’t leave anything for later.
Later, people grow up.
Later, words go unsaid.
Later, life goes by.

Alex Goldie

Later, things change because the future is uncertain. Tomorrow holds many circumstances which might not be better than right now to say what you need to.

It’s not about seizing the moment but practising gentle presence. It’s not about forcing ourselves to do something just because ‘time is short’. It’s about using each moment to be the person you’re becoming while co-creating beauty and newness into this broken world.

We often mistake urgency for presence, rushing to collect experiences before they disappear.

But true presence isn’t frantic; it’s deliberate.

It’s recognising that “now” isn’t merely a point on the timeline before “later,” but the only genuine reality we ever have.

When we truly inhabit this moment, we stop postponing what matters. Not because we fear tomorrow won’t come, but because we understand how we show up today shapes who we become tomorrow. Our words, our silences, our actions aren’t just events in time but threads in the fabric of who we are.

The most profound way to honour time isn’t by racing against it, but by sinking deeply into it, allowing each moment to be both fleeting and eternal in its significance.
