Your body is a sculpture shaped by your experiences, an art piece curated by time.
I’ve come to understand how much my body holds onto anxiety, trauma and stress. Under prolonged periods of these states, my body crumbles like anyone else’s.
But I’ve also learned that if my body is shaped by those experiences, it is equally formed by the moments of love and joy I get to participate in.
Every laugh and joyous moment shapes me in ways I sometimes forget to acknowledge. These moments make me a beautiful artwork curated by time’s passage. When we hold onto these experiences, we reshape some of the parts of our bodies that may be dented or carved out.
I must remember and prioritise the power of positive experiences in my body. They are the shaping tools I need to step more into who I am becoming.
With each smile, each moment of connection, each breath of wonder, I am actively sculpting myself anew.
The masterpiece we’re creating isn’t defined by the absence of scars or dents but by its full composition—the valleys carved by hardship and the peaks built by joy, all forming a landscape unique to our journey.
So, this is my meditation now: to consciously collect joy, to gather love, to let these forces be the primary artists of my being.
