Day 20

Our lies often feel like the truth.

I’m talking about the lies we tell ourselves, consciously or subconsciously.

They are so destructive that we become disconnected from what’s real and true. We turn into strangers to ourselves.

When this begins to happen, we need to pause, look inward, acknowledge the distance, and begin healing from the damage caused.

With healing, the lies can no longer masquerade as truth. We begin to rediscover ourselves as we once were.

It’s from here that we can embrace love and compassion for who we are and our inherent worth. And that matters deeply.
