Day 212

You don’t have to carry everything you carried last season.

Some things were meant only to teach you, not to journey with you.

You did the best you could with what you knew. But now, there’s more space. More knowing. More you.

And it’s okay to set some things down.

When we finally release our grip, we get to stretch our bodies and move out of the crooked posture we’ve held to support weight that was never ours to bear. We can move more freely, elongating parts of ourselves that have been compressed, longing for reprieve.

This month marks both Women’s Month and the last breath of winter. A new season approaches, and with it comes whispers of permission to leave behind what we’ve been carrying from seasons past.

The earth teaches us this lesson every year: what once sustained us in winter’s harsh grip may suffocate spring’s tender growth. Trees don’t apologise for shedding their leaves; they understand that letting go isn’t loss. It’s preparation for something greater.

Let’s welcome gentler intentions going forward. Let’s recognise what is no longer ours to hold and make space for the newness that blooms when we finally open our hands.
