Fear doesn’t stop death. It stops life.
Sometimes, it feels like the world we live in has normalised fear. Hear me out…
There are countless quotes telling us how to overcome and conquer fear. When we read these words strung together, we see wisdom and encouragement to face all that comes our way.
I’ve been there. I’ve felt these exact things. I’ve also let fear control me, leading to anxiety so crippling I couldn’t see a way out.
But what if we viewed fear differently? What if we see it not as something to push through and defeat but something to deliberately avoid altogether?
If we truly understand that fear stops life, wouldn’t we actively seek ways to prevent it from taking hold? Wouldn’t we develop tools to keep it at bay because we choose life instead? We choose to be present.
What if choosing not to entertain fear is precisely how we learn to remain fully present in the life we’ve chosen?
I want to experience more of that kind of living. The kind that brings joy, excitement and anticipation for all the incredible blessings that belong to us.
