Today was a good day. It started with what feels like a massive, exciting breakthrough.
The thing about being in a challenging season is that you long for it to be over. You’re desperate to reach the light at the end of the tunnel, and you block out everything that happens along the way. And, of course, that’s the nature of just trying to get through a difficult time.
But I’m encouraged to look back and see the little breakthroughs that led to this moment of huge breakthrough—because they matter, too.
This analogy applies to life in general. Many moments of quiet strength, joy, and courage lead to beautiful outcomes we once thought impossible. Often, these smaller moments go unnoticed because we’re so focused on reaching those significant, mountain-moving experiences.
I’m deeply grateful to be where I am now after enduring all that’s happened in the last two months.
In this moment of clarity, I can see how each small step forward—even when it felt like standing still—was actually part of creating this breakthrough.
